About Us
St. Stephen's Matriculation School, established in 1847 as an army school, transitioned to St. Stephen's Church School in 1918 under the management of St. Stephen's English Church. A significant transformation occurred in 1985 under Rev. Dr. Jeans I. Jayachandran, following a commendation from the Inspector of Matriculation Schools. Renamed St. Stephen's Matriculation School, it grew from offering classes up to VII standard to producing its first batch of X standard graduates in 1989. With excellent facilities, dedicated staff, and a strong academic foundation, the school continues its legacy of excellence and holistic development.
